“What would you do, if you ever won the Lottery?” That’s what my kids keep asking me when I put my Euromillions ticket on each week.
I’ve given this a fair amount of thought. I’m not greedy, I wouldn’t have to win the whole amount. I’d be happy with enough to pay off my mortgage, not have to worry about work and generally have a nice lifestyle. I’d give some to my family and friends, and if I won an obscene amount I’d set up some sort of Foundation.
Let’s get real here though. The likelihood of it actually happening to me is very low indeed, but if it did, of course it would change me. Not worrying about paying the bills, being able to do things I wouldn’t normally be able to do – why wouldn’t it? As they say, money doesn’t buy happiness… but I’m pretty certain it would make things a little easier.
So, what do you think – would it change you?
