Who knew that a mouth full of metal braces could cost so much!
Child number 1 has small teeth and gapping. It’s not severe enough to warrant NHS treatment, but she is self-counscious enough about it that we’ve opted to get something done. So, on Tuesday the braces went on and an 18-month commitment has been made to the treatment plan.
I don’t think she fully realised how sore she was going to be for the first few days or how restrictive it would be with food. I’m sure it will be worth it in the end but at the moment all I can say is thank goodness for Neurofen, supernoodles and lentil soup!!
